This is a view of the Altes Schloss (or old castle) in Stuttgart through one of the fountains
in the Schlossplatz.

This was a nice picture dad got of me in the castle.

These are some of the "treasures" in the castle.

BIT 22 June 3 2008
Hello again, I'm writing this from IRELAND!!!!!! But first, I'll back up to
where I left you in my last BIT...
Dad took me to the castle of the old Kingdom of Württemberg in Stuttgart for my birthday.
It's been turned into a museum, and they have the crown jewels, much of the
treasures and collections of the King, and some other interesting artifacts
from around the globe! I had a great time, and if you ever get a chance to
go to Stuttgart you've got to take the time to go through the castle for
yourself.
After that we returned to the house. Tami had prepared a great meal and
a BIG chocolate cake, with real whipped cream in the middle, for my birthday! It was
delicious and really nice of her! THANKS Tami!
The next day I played all day at one of the local U.S. bases. It was a great
day, and I made some new connections. I'm looking forward to doing it again
when I'm back in the Stuttgart area in September.
The next day...on Sunday, I played another concert at
I.B.C.
in Stuttgart. And I will miss my friends I left there while I'm away.
A few days later My friends, Siegfried & Leslie Schreiber had us over for a
really nice time at their home and I played a special concert for them and
their guests. Siggi and I also had a blast playing some of the songs that we
played for the kids at the AWANA meetings at IBC too!
The next day Shawn & Tami Gale took us to a Blue Man concert in Stuttgart
which Shawn had set up for the kids at the school he teaches at. It was
quite a spectacle and the kids loved it! After the concert, when we were
walking in the parking garage, dad got a few pictures of Caleb and I having
some fun.
On May 30th Dad and I headed out of Stuttgart by train to get to the
Airport in Frankfurt. And after a bit of a delay from a large storm we
arrived in Dublin, Ireland! Mom also flew in to the same airport and a we
went to Arklow for a few days.
Last Sunday morning I played at Redcross Church. And made some more friends. It's a
small church in the country side and the ride to and from there is just
beautiful!
When we returned to Arklow and we went to an International Food and Cultural
Fair. There was quite a few activities, and there was so many food booths
that even I wasn't able to try
every thing there! And what I had was quite good, especially the Irish stew.
While we were there, we had the opportunity to meet the Minister of
the Embassy of India to Ireland, Mr. Mahesh C. Naithani and his wife,
Mrs. Vijay Naithani.
Yesterday we were moved to the town of Avoca to stay for a few days. We have
been blessed with sunny days everyday since we've been here...quite a
blessing here in Ireland! We'll see where God leads us from here on the
Emerald Isle.
Be sure to
check back pretty often...Ill be adding a new section to my website soon...a
photo album!
Have a great day!

The crown jewels of the Kingdom of Württemberg.

It's amazing how intricate this crown is. I didn't count them all, but
there has to be at least 200 diamonds in it!

The Engraving on many of the weapons are incredible!
